John and I were very fortunate last weekend to attend the Culinary Team Canada Go for the Gold dinner. This event was the team's opportunity to test the dinner that they hope will win them the gold medal at the upcoming World Culinary Cup in Luxembourg.
Oh my goodness, my friends... WHAT A MEAL!!
I don't have the culinary know-how to be able to describe everything that we were fed, but there was lobster and arctic char and bison and the most unbelievable pear dessert I've ever had.
It was one of those meals I'll remember for a long time!
